LOST is over!
Have you been watching LOST? Do you think the finale summed up the 6 year journey? Find out what we think.
Warning: If you have not watched the LOST finale, this post may spoil it for you. Please use strong caution!
Amazing? Terrible? Beautiful? Poignant? I are still not sure how I feel about the LOST finale. I always knew that it was impossible to answer all of the questions raised over the course of 6 years, but to answer almost none of them seems a little wrong.
Reading various forums and blogs brings up two groups of people. Those who feel somewhat cheated by the lack of answers, and those who feel entirely happy and don't care for the answers, because they believe the program was about the characters, not the questions.
Personally I was a little disappointed with the ending but I cannot think of many other ways it could have ended that would have pleased the broad majority of watchers. It drove home the idea that the show is deeply rooted in theology, faith and to some extent religious principles. The whole journey of black vs. white, science vs. faith ended with faith.
Wether you thought it was a beautiful piece of TV or a waste of your life, you will enjoy this video titled 'This Week in Unnecessary Censorship - LOST Edition' from Jimmy Kemmel. Warning - not suitable for work or minors due to (implied) swearing.
